Minesweeper Game

Minesweeper is a popular puzzle game where the goal is to clear a grid of hidden mines without detonating any of them. The game originated in the 1960s and has since been included in various computer operating systems and gaming platforms. 

The game is played on a square grid, typically ranging from 9x9 to 30x16 or larger, depending on the version. The grid contains hidden mines, represented by numbers or symbols, and empty squares. The player starts by clicking on a square to reveal its content. If the revealed square contains a mine, the game ends, and the player loses. If the revealed square is empty, it will display a number indicating the number of adjacent mines. The player can then use this information to deduce the locations of the mines and continue playing. 

To clear the grid, the player must use logical deduction and strategy. By analyzing the numbers on the revealed squares, players can deduce the locations of mines and mark them with flags. Marking a square with a flag prevents accidental clicking on that square, helping the player avoid detonating mines. The game is won when all non-mine squares are revealed and marked correctly. Some versions of Minesweeper may have additional features like different difficulty levels, timed gameplay, or the ability to customize the grid size.
